  • I am a graduate of Cohen Hillel Academy, and I was incredibly well prepared for Swampscott High School, and Duke University. My son is currently in Kindergarten and is thriving. He is taking great pride in his work, and he is learning about giving back. He recently told us that rather than celebrating eight days of Chanukah with gifts for him, this year he would like to celebrate with four days of getting and four days of giving. I have no doubt that his comments and behaviors have been positively impacted by his experiences at school. He loves going to school (one morning at 5am he asked me if I could bring him for an early drop-off), and the entire Cohen Hillel family adores my son. I highly recommend Cohen Hillel Academy!

  • Our daughter has attended Cohen Hillel Academy since kindergarten and will be entering the sixth grade where she is thriving. The positive experiences from this school has also influenced us as a family. The general and Judaic studies are phenomenal. The intimate class sizes of this dual curriculum emphasize critical thinking skills, questioning, and second-language instruction. The experiential learning approach at Hillel has given our daughter more confidence and we have seen her grow as an independent thinker. She is learning to develop ideas instead of passively absorbing information. Cohen Hillel Academy is a gateway to the broader Jewish Community. Beyond this obvious relationship, Hillel has become family. The support network of peer families and the sense of community is truly appreciated by all current and past families.
